The Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund media team within the Division of Strategic Communications and Media Relations, has received its fifth invitation to cover the Black College Football Hall of Fame’s (BCFHOF) Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl on February 21, 2026, at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. The game will air live on NFL Network at 3:00 p.m.
The Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl is a premier postseason all-star showcase featuring the top NFL draft eligible players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The Legacy Bowl goes beyond football — serving as the centerpiece of a week-long celebrations of Black history and culture, delivering unparalleled exposure for HBCU students and featuring the nation’s largest HBCU Career Fair.
The Black College Football Hall of Fame was founded in 2009 by African American pioneers, quarterbacks James Harris and Doug Williams to preserve the history and honor the greatest football players, coaches, and contributors from HBCUs.

The Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund is an initiative that supports HBCUs and football classics that feature HBCU football teams. The tour begins in late August and goes through early December, kicking off with the Southwest Athletic Conference (SWAC) Media Day, ending with the SWAC Football Championship game, and visiting various football classics and HBCU campuses. The Division of College Relations and Scholarships joins the tour on specific dates to assist high school students with choosing to attend an HBCU.
The tour schedule for the 10th Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour is slated for release in March 2026. To support the tour, please consider making a donation by clicking here.
