SIAC Announces 2025 Football Schedule to Air on ESPN Platforms, HCF’s HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour to feature the 5th annual Red Tails Classic

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced that 23 football games will be streamed on ESPN platforms this fall with 11 weeks of regular-season competition in addition to the highly anticipated conference championship on Nov. 15.

Tuskegee will kick off its season on August 31 against Winston-Salem State in the fifth annual Red Tails Classic, held at the historic Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Alabama. The game is part of the Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund, marking the tour’s second stop in its third year of participation.

The 2025 lineup highlights some of the league’s most celebrated traditional and inaugural classics, including the Fountain City Classic (Fort Valley State vs. Albany State). This matchup is also included in the schedule for the 9th Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund.

About the Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund
The Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund is an initiative that support Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and football classics that feature HBCU football teams. The tour begins in September and goes through early December, kicking off with the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Football Media Day, ending with the SWAC Football Championship game, and visiting various football classics and HBCU campuses. The Division of College Relations and Scholarships joins the tour on specific dates to assist high school students with choosing to attend an HBCU.
