
The HBCU Campaign Fund (HCF) will conclude its eighth leg of its Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour this Saturday in Jackson, Mississippi, at the 2024 SWAC Football Championship game.
On November 16, Jackson State, the champion of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) East Division, secured the hosting rights for the 2024 SWAC Football Championship game. This victory came after they defeated Alabama State. In the championship game, the JSU Tigers will face the Southern Jaguars, who clinched the SWAC West Division title by defeating Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
The title game match-up featuring Jackson State versus Southern marks the second time in the past three seasons that the two teams will meet in the historic title game.

Every year, the Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund, commences with the SWAC Football Media Day event in July and concludes with the football championship game in December.

The championship game is scheduled to be played this Saturday, December 7 at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium at 1:00 pm CST live on ESPN2. To purchase tickets for the event, please click here.

About the Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund
The Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour Presented by the HBCU Campaign Fund is an initiative that supports historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and football classics that feature HBCU football teams. The tour begins in September and goes through early December, kicking off with the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) Football Media Day, ending with the SWAC Football Championship game, and visiting various football classics and HBCU campuses. The Division of College Relations and Scholarships joins the tour on specific dates to assist high school students with choosing to attend an HBCU.
