The HBCU Legacy Bowl, which recently announced Allstate as its exclusive title partner, is presented by the Black College Football Hall of Fame. It is a postseason all-star game showing the best NFL draft-eligible football players from HBCUs. The bowl’s teams are named after the legendary coaches Jake Gaither (FAMU) and Eddie Robinson (Grambling State). It is broadcast live on the NFL Network, and includes a NFL HBCU Combine and week-long celebration of events representing Black culture for HBCU students and alumni.

One of the huge events during HBCU Legacy Bowl week is the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl Career Fair, presented by the New Orleans Saints. This event provides job opportunities and career counseling for HBCU juniors, seniors, and recent graduates. This event has become the largest HBCU career fair in the nation in less than two years, thanks to the Black College Football Hall of Fame.

This year the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl is proud to celebrate that more than 1,500 participated in the career fair, which included students from 57 HBCUs and 106 of the nation’s top employers.

The Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour was established eight years ago to support HBCUs and football classics that feature HBCU football teams. The tour begins in September and goes through early December, visiting various football classics and HBCU campuses. It comprises HCF’s Division of College Relations and Scholarships and Strategic Communications and Media Relations. The Division of College Relations and Scholarships joins the tour on specific dates to assist high school students with choosing to attend an HBCU.

In 2021 and 2022, the Annual HBCU Football and Recruitment Tour kicked off in Canton, Ohio, with the Black College Football Hall of Fame Classic at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. This classic featured teams such as Alabama A&M, Grambling State, Tennessee State, Morehouse College, Central State, Winston-Salem State, and Virginia Union.

The official tour schedule will be released in March 2024. Donations to support the tour can be made at www.hbcucampaignfund.org/donate.
